Wattle Grove Primary School prides itself on the many leadership opportunities it provides students across the school, whether it be as Student Representatives, Student Councillors, Faction Captains and Vice Captains and as team leaders in the many other programs and events run throughout the year.
Each term a new group of senior students from Year 6 are selected to be Student Representatives and represent the school on special occasions, carrying out various tasks across the school and presenting the 'Student Rep Report' at fortnightly assemblies.
Student Councillors assist in the decision making within Wattle Grove Primary School. Two Class Councillors represent their classes at Student Council Meetings and by bringing issues and ideas to the forefront, enabling better processes and procedures to be put in place across the school. They meet together at least twice a term to discuss their ideas and the issues they present.
